MINDtalk's KEYNOTE talks inspire, educate and entertain. Talks can be tailored to range between 30 minutes to 60 minutes in length.
When we feel life is inside-out and upside-down, it is certainty we crave. There is safety in certainty, but it also can be a trap. Sometimes we need to embrace a level of uncertainty to grow and develop,
Participants are introduced to the paradox of certainty. They learn about how the brain is continually assessing the relationship between a persons resources and the demands of a situation. Depending on how a person perceives this balance, it will determine if they see change as a threat or as a challenge.
Building Resilience is aimed at giving participants a toolkit of inner skills to navigate their high pressure realities.
They learn skills for maintaining an optimistic and healthy perspective through difficult times, methods for managing and sustaining energy for optimal performance, how to access and use mental imagery to enhance resilience and a strategy to remain engaged during challenges. These inner skills transform the stress and pressure inherent in moving forward into a growth experience.
Psychological safety is a crucial factor especially when managing remote teams. When people are feeling stressed, anxiety and worry their emotional brains can over the logical part. This can leave people feeling alone and isolated, even if they know logically they are supported.
Participants gain a fresh understanding of how their brain works and targeted strategies to build strong bonds of trust. Participants learn about the social brain and the key-communication skills needed to build and maintain cohesive relationships so people feel psychological safety.
This talk explores the trap of overthinking. What is it, how it unfolds in our mind (especially when experiencing uncertainty) and what we can do to keep it under control and help those around us to do the same.
The more we think about our thinking, the more effective we are at stopping self-criticism, negative judgement and unnecessary anxiety.
Agility is the ability to think and move quickly and easily. It is at the core of the Growth Mindset. Participants learn the four aspects of the GROWTH mindset: perspective, self-awareness, narrative and energy management.
By learning to think with agility we learn to manage ourselves, and in turn learn to be better at managing others and demanding situations.
This talk teaches the self-awareness and communication skills that masterful collaborators use to work seamlessly across groups of diverse people, personalities, and organizational silos.
