Recent findings and advances in understanding the brain are helping to transform how people think, develop and perform. Knowing the principles of the brain helps leaders understand their own behaviour, as well as the motivations and behaviours of their teams.
MINDtalk had conducted brain-based talks and workshops in front of numerous audiences on the application of brain science and cognitive psychology to a range of organisations and profesional associations.
We deliver talks that inspire, educate and entertain that range between 30 to 60 minutes in length.
We have created a modular training program that is both seamless and adaptable. The modules can be rearranged into different combinations to form a half-day, full-day or two-day workshop to meet specific organisational needs.
Each module has also be designed as a stand-alone KEYNOTE talk that inspires, educates and entertains. Our KEYNOTES range from 30 minutes to 60 minutes in length.
Get in contact with us and we will be pleased to tailor a talk to meet your team's or organisational's specific needs.
We find ourselves in unprecedented change. Our brains interpret change as a threat sending us into a reactive mindset. The result is overthinking - a symptom of both anxiety and depression. The person plagued with anxious thoughts about how the future will end in disaster. The depressed thinker is haunted by regrets of actions and inactions of their past. In both cases, people get stuck on what they can’t control and influence.
In this talk we explore overthinking. What it is, how it unfolds in our mind (especially when experiencing uncertainty) and what we can do to keep it under control and help those around us to do the same.
Bridging the disconnect between what brain-science knows and what working professionals do. Jason Liem, MINDtalk, holds a master in psychology and is passionately engaged in how we can train our brain to master every days challenges. Through research and examples he ́ll talk about how we can avoid staying in the Survival Mode and rather evolve to the more effective and productive Executive Mode.
